steve turned the big three-one in september.

we started out with some shopping to get some new shoes.

decorated with a balloon and card, which was quickly removed.

later we fed the ducks at daybreak, one of steve's top ten favorite things to do.
then sat down for a cold one.

steve and sydney were sitting in their chairs across from each other and, what seemed to be, having a full on conversation.

it is one of those images I hope to never forget.
then finished it off by letting sydney play

she loves slides, especially now that she can get UP and DOWN all by herself.

we love you steve.
